About Me

Hello fellow recording enthusiasts!
My name is Trey Fruge and my passion is music. Music has been in my family for generations, and I absolutely love every aspect of it. I am currently a member of Simple Interest, an original rock band from Baton Rouge, LA. I play guitar, and piano, as well as sing backup. We love writing music and performing for others, so check out our website on reverbnetion.com for more details! I am the official recording engineer for the band as well, so anything that you hear on our website has been mixed and produced by myself in my home studio.

I wanted to create this blog to help others who are just as avid of a music enthusiast as myself! For me, I remember it being especially hard to start from scratch when I first began to record my own music. With this blog, I hope to be able to make it easier for people just like me to get started with recording! In addition, I aim to make my recording advice applicable to recording engineers of all levels so that anyone can benefit from it.
