My name is Cecil Fruge and my passion is music. Music has been in my family for generations, and I absolutely love every aspect of it. I am currently a member of
Simple Interest, an original rock band from Baton Rouge, LA. I play guitar, and piano, as well as sing backup. We love writing music and performing for others, so check out our website on

I wanted to create this blog to help others who are just as avid of a music enthusiast as myself! For me, I remember it being especially hard to start from scratch when I first began to record my own music. With this blog, I hope to be able to make it easier for people just like me to get started with recording!
